The MT60 series signal towers are a series of
pre-assembled signal towers that can be directly connected and installed. There is no need to assemble them yourself with the MT60. The signal towers feature a red, yellow, and green LED for the most standard signalling of the status of, for example, a machine. The LEDs emit light all around to avoid dead angles and/or blind spots. For additional signalling, the entire series is
also available with an acoustic module with a volume level of 75dB. It is also possible to make (only) the
red LED flash* to make a malfunction even more clearly visible.
Mounting
In terms of mounting, the MT60 series offers all the possibilities for most standard situations. The signal towers are available for horizontal and vertical mounting, but tube mounting is also possible. With the latter option, you can choose for tube mounting with a supplied tube (100 mm) or by means of an external tube. The MT60 version with a 5-pin M12 connector can be easily mounted using a separately available bracket (SKU: AR106057).
Waterproof and Impact Resistant
The entire MT60 series is equipped with a monolithic (single piece) polycarbonate lens. In addition to the lens, the housing is also made of polycarbonate. This makes the MT60 series IP66 classified, among other things. Dust has no chance of penetrating the housing, and water must be sprayed on the tower under considerable high pressure to have a chance of penetrating. In terms of impact resistance, the signal towers are classified as IK07, which means they can withstand an impact of 2 joules. For harsh conditions with extreme temperatures, they are resistant to temperatures from -25 °C to +50 °C.
