The mDD series ATEX signal lamps from Auer Signal is an all-around series of signal lamps. The signal lamps are equipped with multiple high-power LEDs as a light source and offer various signaling functions. The series is available in 5 different colors and 2 different voltages. The signal lamps are made of plastic and are suitable for use in ATEX zones 1, 2, 21, and 22.
Various Signaling FunctionsEach signal lamp in the mDD series has various signaling capabilities. In addition to continuous light, there is also the option to make the lamp flicker or flash, and even a rotating beacon effect with 111 'rotations' per minute is possible. The many signaling options ensure that the mDD series can be widely used, from a signal lamp on a machine to a signal lamp for (acute) danger.
HousingThe mDD signal lamp series has a Ø 103 mm polycarbonate plastic housing and lens (transparent). The mounting bracket is made of stainless steel. The lamps have an IP66 classification (IEC 60529) and are suitable for use in ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 & 22. In terms of connection, a choice can be made between a 24 VDC or 230 VAC version, both versions are equipped with an M20 cable gland entry. The lamps are suitable for use in temperatures from -40 °C to +65 °C for the 24 VDC version and -40 °C to +60 °C for the 230 VAC version.
