The RDM series LED signal lamps from Auer Signal are a standard signal lamp that can be used in most applications. This signal lamp, with a light intensity of up to
111 candela (depending on the colour), is suitable for situations where users are relatively close to the signal lamp and/or where standard ambient light is present. For applications requiring more light, the RDMHP (High Performance) or RDMUP (Ultra Performance) can be chosen, with the RDMUP even being visible in direct sunlight.
The RDM signal lamps are available in 6 colours and are multifunctional. Each lamp has multiple signalling functions such as a strobe light, rotating beacon, pulsating light, and of course, continuous light. They are IP 66 rated and can be permanently installed outdoors. They also have an IK 08 impact resistance, meaning they can take a knock.
The RDM series is part of the R series of signal lamps and mounting brackets. The R series is known for its
maximum modularity and functionality. This series includes continuous-light modules, multifunctional modules, and multi-colour modules, all of which can be combined with the available base modules. This modularity allows you as a user to
create your own signal lamp with the different modules, lenses, and accessories, while each component retains its own order number. Another signal lamp from the R series can then be easily exchanged or replaced by an RDM or another lamp from the R series.
The R series LED signal lamps are also easy and safe to install thanks to the detachable terminal for easy wiring and the easy-to-handle bayonet closure. The R series is designed to replace the M series and offers more functionality and compatibility than its predecessor, especially in terms of light intensity.
