The CT24 series low power (333mV) current transformers from Janitza are a series of split-core current transformers. The current transformers are available in three versions with a primary current of 50, 75, or 100 A, with a choice of a cable length of 25 centimetres or 2 metres. By using a connector instead of screw connections, the CT24 current transformers can be easily and quickly connected to the Janitza Module 800-CT24. This Module 800-CT24 is a 24-channel current measuring module, with a maximum of 4 being connectable to the UMG801.
Split-Core
The CT24 series current transformers consist of split-core current transformers that can be easily placed around the conductor to be measured without having to de-energize the installation. This simplifies the installation and causes less inconvenience. In addition, they are also suitable for retrofitting. The 50 and 75 A models fit around a conductor with a maximum diameter of 10 mm, the 100 A model fits around a conductor with a maximum diameter of 12.5 mm.
