The CT-SC series low power (333mV) current transformers from Janitza are a series of split-core current transformers specifically designed for the
UMG 96-PQ-L-LP power analyser and the
800-CT8-LP expansion module (associated with the UMG 801 power analyser). The current transformers are available with a primary current of 20 to 600 A and have a cable length of 5 meters. The entire series has a class 0.5 accuracy.
Conductor Diameter
For a current transformer, it is obviously important that it fits around the conductor to be measured. In the CT-SC series of current transformers, the following diameters are available for conductors:
- CT-SC-006-500-20: 6,1 mm
- CT-SC-010-500-50/75: 9,5 mm
- CT-SC-012-500-75: 12 mm
- CT-SC-016-500-100: 16 mm
- CT-SC-024-500-100/200/250: 23,3 mm
- CT-SC-036-500-400/600: 35,3 mm
Split-Core
The CT-SC series current transformers are split-core transformers that can be easily placed around the conductor to be measured without the need to de-energise the installation. This simplifies the installation and causes less inconvenience. Additionally, this also makes them suitable for retrofitting.
