The dSD series ATEX signal lamps from Auer Signal is an all-around series of signal lamps. The signal lamps are equipped with multiple high-power LEDs as a light source and offer various signalling functions. The series is available in 5 different colours and 2 different voltages. The signal lamps are made of materials including aluminium and steel and are suitable for use in ATEX zones 1, 2, 21, and 22. Depending on the colour, the signal lamps have a light intensity of 13 - 53 cd (candela).
Various Signalling FunctionsEach signal lamp in the dSD series has various signalling capabilities. In addition to continuous light, there is also the option to make the lamp flicker or flash, and even a rotating beacon effect is possible. For the rotating beacon effect, there is a choice of 33 or 44 'rotations' per minute. The many signalling options ensure that the dSD series can be widely used, from a signal lamp on a machine to a signal lamp for (acute) danger.
HousingThe dSD signal lamp series has a copper-free and seawater-resistant Ø 110 mm aluminium housing with a lens of toughened glass. The lens is further protected by a stainless steel protective cage. The lamps have an IP66 and IP67 classification (IEC 60529) and are suitable for use in ATEX zones 1, 2, 21 & 22. In terms of connection, a choice can be made between a 24 VDC or 110-240 VAC version, both versions are equipped with an M20 cable gland entry. The lamps are suitable for use in temperatures from -55 °C to +55 °C.
